God Bless America!🫡🇺🇸

 I know I'm serving in Canada everyone but there is a story behind the title of this email hehe.


We were all going to bed and we said goodnight so it was quiet for a second and then my companion starts to say goodnight but I heard her say "God bless America" and we all just died laughing. I know its not that funny but you had to be there.

Anyways hello, it was a great week we had so many member meals can you believe it!! In my 4 months serving here in YSA I had my first official member meal on Thursday, it was great! And then we had lunch the next day with our recent convert and I guess that is all the member meals but thats still a lot for YSA!

On Sunday i gave a talk for mother's day which was very nice and we had interviews with President Lee who is just so wonderful I love him so much!

We had to move our friend Rodrigos baptism date to next Sunday the 24th because he wants to feel more prepared so everyone pray for him! We are also going to invite Johan to be baptized on the 24th as well so please pray for him too!

This week has been very chill nothing too crazy happened!

I'll just share this scripture because I have really loved sharing it with people this week!

2 Nephi 4
19 And when I desire to rejoice, my heart groaneth because of my sins; nevertheless, I know in whom I have trusted.

20 My God hath been my support; he hath led me through mine afflictions in the wilderness; and he hath preserved me upon the waters of the great deep.

These are my favorite scriptures, they bring me so much peace and remind me that if everything in this life fails, Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father will never fail me.

 Hi Everyone!!! I am so dearly sorry for not emailing you all I know you're just dying to hear how I am doing! Lol. So here you go, I am doing so good!! Im not even lying, I love it here with my whole heart. I love teaching people, finding people, and I love the members. AND to top it all off, it's getting SO WARM!!  Hello again, I feel like im emailing you guys everyday, P-day just keeps coming up faster and faster. But it's good im excited to update y'all on everything.  This week was so good we now have 4 friends on date! They are all amazing and have strengthened my testimony of this gospel so so much. I'm so excited for them! Monday to Tuesday I exchanged with our STLs. I was with Sister Johnson!! I love her she's awesome and such a diligent missionary I learned so much from her. We taught one of our friends about the 10 commandments and when we said thou shall not Kill, he said we shouldn't kill with knife, but in Nigeria, we kill with gun... Yeah that was crazy so we had to make sure he knew any killing is against the commandments🤣 then we had FHE and we played telestrations! It was fun but it's definitely more fun with my family. Farewell and Setting Apart

 Shelby was so nervous to give her talk, but she did amazing! Her testimony is powerful. She talked of building a relationship with Jesus Christ. Her testimony of serving in the temple was sincere and strong. It was an amazing talk, as if she has already gone and served! The Dean girls; Mom, Emily, Ellee, Hailey and Aubrey sang the song Because, by Shawna Edwards. It was a beautiful song that added the spirit to the meeting. Finally, President Lootens spoke, and he told of how much he loves Shelby and the Dean family. It was a nice tribute. We had an open house here at our home, where wonderful friends and family came: The Lee's, Grandma and Grandpa Martin, Jordan, The Hubbards, The Walkers,  The Waltons, The Rodriguezs, The Ackroyds, Sebastian Badara, Karam, and Sarah Pender. We ate Ham sliders and 6 different salads and desserts.
