Sister Shelby Dean

 Transfer 2!  I titled my last email Transfers... but i forgot to tell you guys the Transfer news🤦‍♀️. Haha but now I will tell you!! I am staying in Churville YSA so that is so awesome because I love the members and I love teaching YSA. My trainer Sister Bingham went home because it was her last transfer so I got a new companion Sister Banta!! She is in her 5th transfer and she is the sweetest person ever, so I'm so excited to work with her! To keep it real, this has been a very hard week. It was very hard to say goodbye to my trainer, I love her so much. And I was feeling very anxious about having a new companion and having to lead out the area. I was so stressed and had a few nights of just tears and prayer haha. But as I focused on just doing the work I felt God strengthen me and give me peace and remind me of my purpose.  A fun thing that happened is we put our friend Joel on date!! He is this super sweet guy me and Sister Bingham met at the library a few weeks ago!...

  Hello everyone!! I'm already at the end of my first transfer and bro, it flew by. Coming off the airplane literally feels like last week... it's crazy! This last week has been my favorite week on the Mission so far. I was really struggling before this week, just feeling like I'm not a good missionary, and feeling inadequate. But this week I have felt the lord strengthen me and remind me that this is his work, these are his children, and he wants to use me to help them feel his love for them. An awesome thing that happened this week is Gift getting baptized!! This was such a miracle because we actually didn't think it would be happening this week. There were some questions he had that we just didn't know how to help him understand. So we had an amazing member join one of our lessons, and he helped Gift understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a PERFECT way, and Gift was finally at peace with his concern!! Then he had his baptismal interview and he was ready to go! ...
