Baptism and Whitewash Training🫠

Hey everyone!! These past 2 weeks have been quite the roller coaster. The First thing I want to write about is Johan! My last email I told you all that we were planning on inviting Johan to be baptized on May 24th. That week we were calling him and he told us he wanted to be baptized on that day! We didnt even invite him, he just felt ready! That was truly the happiest moment of my mission, it was so exciting. He ended up being baptized on May 25th last Monday!  His baptism was perfect and I felt so much joy! Watching Johan learn that God was real and that he truly loved him was amazing. The best part was that we did nothing! All we did was invite him to continue to pray even when it was hard and to read the Book of Mormon everyday and God did the rest. I know that God is there and when we put in the effort to be close to him, we WILL see his hand in our life and feel is love change our hearts!! The next day I found out that I am whitewash training. I got a brand new missiona...

I know I'm serving in Canada everyone but there is a story behind the title of this email hehe. We were all going to bed and we said goodnight so it was quiet for a second and then my companion starts to say goodnight but I heard her say "God bless America" and we all just died laughing. I know its not that funny but you had to be there. Anyways hello, it was a great week we had so many member meals can you believe it!! In my 4 months serving here in YSA I had my first official member meal on Thursday, it was great! And then we had lunch the next day with our recent convert and I guess that is all the member meals but thats still a lot for YSA! On Sunday i gave a talk for mother's day which was very nice and we had interviews with President Lee who is just so wonderful I love him so much! We had to move our friend Rodrigos baptism date to next Sunday the 24th because he wants to feel more prepared so everyone pray for him! We are also going to invite Johan to be bap...

Will the Rain ever Stop?😅

Good morning everyone!! This was a really good week! It never stops raining here though. Someone should have told me that Im going to be wet all day everyday. But we ball. Thursday was district council and I gave an instruction on how to help others become curious about the gospel. It was a very good topic and I really liked focusing on it a lot when I talked to people on the street or was teaching a lesson! Then I had an Exchange with Sister Ricks!! I LOVE HER!!  This exchange was so fun because it was my first time leaving my area on my mission! It was nice to find at a different spot and stay at a new apartment. Anyways this day was so eventful, we first had a really good lesson with one of Sister Ricks friends. Hes so cool, he is catholic but he said he feels something different in our church that makes him feel more happy and more connected to God! So cool! Then we went to help an old lady in her ward move some stuff around in her house. This lady is like 90 years old an...
